Red body and white body ceramic tiles

We are often being asked about the differences between ceramic tiles produced with red clay (red body) and those produced with white clay (white body). The most important distinction is the color; however, there still are some minor differences which are outlined below.

1.White clay granules are smaller/finer than those of red clay

2.White-body ceramic tiles come in rectified, as well as non-rectified form (see the picture below); while the red body tiles are non-rectified

3.Large-sized ceramic tiles can be manufactured using white body; the size red body tiles is limited

4.White body tiles tend to be more expensive. This is because the tiles manufactured with white clay can be glazed with more vibrant and deep color ranges
